Oonagh has always had a passion for working with people. Starting out as a journalist, working primarily in the corporate and then the education sector, she later gained a Bachelor of Science in Professional Social Work, which led to an incredibly rewarding 10-year career in child welfare and fostering in London, UK.
Keen to further develop her therapeutic skills, Oonagh moved to New York and graduated with a Master of Arts and Master of Education in Psychological Counseling from Columbia University. She also holds the Advanced Certificate in Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) from The Albert Ellis Institute and a certificate in Prolonged Exposure Therapy.
Oonagh has experience in working with clients who are dealing with depression, anxiety, shame, relationship issues, attachment and identity difficulties and those who have experienced significant trauma.
Oonagh is a member of the American Counseling Association.
