I believe that we each have the power to be our best selves, and much of that power is harnessed through self-discovery and self-care. I utilize a warm and personalized approach to help you in your journey to explore barriers that might be holding you back from living your most fulfilling, balanced, and authentic life.
Having grown up in a multicultural environment and in international schooling in Beijing, I have a profound appreciation for diversity and individuality, and honor both in my approach to therapy. My focus is on building a strong therapeutic relationship with you, tailored to your specific circumstances. I believe we each have a distinct inner world, much like a unique garden with its own pace, strengths, and seasons. At times, this garden can become overrun with unhelpful thoughts that crowd out its potential. Together we can tend to that space, nurturing the thoughts and beliefs that help you thrive, while gently clearing away those that no longer work toward your goals and values.
I have always been fascinated by how our experiences and cultures shape us and influence how we navigate the world, which has fueled my interest in human behavior. I am also particularly drawn to the ways health and wellness intersect with our thoughts, feelings, and actions.
I have a BS in Psychology from Northeastern University, with a minor in Health Science, and I completed my MA and Ed.M. in Counseling Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University
In my free time, I love to run (recently ran my first NYC marathon!), throw wheel ceramics, cook (especially pasta), and try new restaurants with my friends and family.
