I have had a passion for mental health counseling for as long as I can remember and a strong capacity to absorb other people’s life experiences with unconditional positive regard. To me, all humans are beautiful, especially in the most chaotic form of existence, and I love to hear their stories. I spent a large part of my emerging adulthood in the determined pursuit of my own personal growth, and now I wish to take part in the growth of others who seek it.

I have lived in several different cities around the world and I come from a very multicultural background. I graduated high school in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and finished my BA in Psychology at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. After completing my undergraduate studies I excelled as an Applied Behavioral Analyst at a Learning Difficulties Clinic in Dubai for three years. During this experience, I learned to develop the skills I need to survive in a high-stakes and fast-learning environment. I completed my MA degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at New York University. It has been an honor studying what I love the most and a privilege to be able to apply what I have learned by leaving a real impact on the lives of those I cross paths with.

When working with my clients, I believe that the relationship we create in the room is of utmost importance to achieving personal goals and making true progress. Throughout our work together, I always make sure to check in with my clients to see how satisfied they are with the therapeutic process, and redefine any goals if necessary. I view my clients as the heroes in their own lives and myself as merely the facilitator.

In my free time I enjoy taking long quiet walks alone in Central Park, or catching up with my friends and family back home.
