In receiving my B.A. in Sociology and Health & Wellness from Tulane University in New Orleans, I was encouraged to enmesh my initial interest in nutrition with a more holistic approach to wellness. I am a firm believer that physical health is reliant on mental health.
Initially beginning my career path in the beauty industry, I made a point to work for a corporation that emphasizes doing good for others. I was drawn to their eco-friendly initiatives, philanthropic contributions, and practices to promote employee wellness from a physical and mental perspective. Ultimately, I began to crave a more personal connection and wanted to help people on an individual level. I have always been fascinated with human behavior and have now completed a Master’s degree in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness at New York University.
I hope to combine my compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor with honesty and authenticity. My goal is to create a collaborative relationship where we can work together to define goals, uncover obstacles, and find sustainable solutions.
In my free time, I enjoy walking around and exploring New York City, finding new restaurants and activities to partake in. Additionally, I love to carve out time during the week to spend time with family and friends to help me relax and recharge.
