Senior Therapist

Have you ever found yourself feeling stuck between your thoughts and feelings that seem to be at odds with each other? Often, this is an obstacle to feeling free and at ease. I can help you find clarity with what’s happening between your thoughts and feelings that may be making it challenging for you to reach your mental and emotional health goals. I believe that a safe and supportive client-therapist relationship is necessary for healing, especially if you’ve had any sort of traumatic experiences. It’s through this environment that any change can occur. I’m passionate about helping my clients process their emotions, gain insight, strengthen their coping skills, and heal from the effects of trauma. My clinical approach is guided by REBT, Inner-Child Work, and trauma-informed care. Additionally, I am trained in EMDR, a therapy modality for trauma recovery.

I was born and raised in Manhattan, New York. After earning my Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, I pursued a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Alliance University where I was trained to counsel through a multicultural and holistic perspective that takes into consideration the client’s biological, psychological, sociological, and spiritual needs. As a 2nd generation Asian American I understand the difficulties with being a part of two cultures while simultaneously trying to navigate difficult family dynamics.

When I’m not exploring new patterns of thinking and behaving, my time is spent cooking, baking, organizing and decorating my home, and spending quality time with my friends.
