Associate Therapist

Life can feel overwhelming, like you’re supposed to have it all figured out, yet something still feels off. You may be succeeding on the outside but carrying quiet stress, self-doubt, or loneliness on the inside. Therapy is a space where we don’t have to carry it all alone. As Viktor Frankl once wrote, “When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.” I believe meaningful change begins not only with support and clarity, but also with the courage to observe our patterns, experiment with new tools, and rediscover the inner shifts that allow growth to take root.

With a background in mechanical engineering and physics from Penn State and years of experience in the high-pressure world of fintech, I understand the unique stressors that come with demanding careers, transitions, and the quiet sense of being “stuck” even when life appears to be going well. Now, as a graduate student at NYU pursuing my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and Wellness, I bring both analytical insights and emotional attunement into the therapeutic space.

My style is collaborative and integrative, grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while also drawing from other modalities when they serve your goals. I aim to create a space that feels warm, nonjudgmental, and curious, where we work together to uncover what’s holding you back and move toward the life you want to live.

Being bilingual, I offer therapy in both English and Mandarin. I have the experience and ability to support individuals navigating cross-cultural stress, LGBTQ+ identity, immigration-related challenges, anxiety, and career uncertainty. My strength-based and multicultural approach allows me to see and honor the full complexity of your experience, while helping you build the internal resources to meet life with resilience and self-trust.

Outside the therapy room, you’ll often find me spending time with my two beloved cats, lifting weights, getting lost in a book, or wandering through art museums. I believe healing unfolds not just through insight, but through connection, and I would be honored to walk beside you as you reclaim your clarity, your voice, and your power.
