Sometimes we realize the weight of a moment as it happens, but more often it’s the lingering, quiet aftermath that shapes us. Life is full of turning points and those “before” and “after” moments that can feel overwhelming or uncertain. Whatever has brought you here, I want to support you in meeting your “after” with clarity, compassion, and the tools you need to move forward. I appreciate the courage it takes to share your story with someone new, and as your counselor, I will be a steady presence, bringing warmth, humor, and authenticity to our sessions.

My path into counseling began as a high school teacher, basketball coach, and camp counselor, where I discovered the importance of walking alongside students and colleagues during major life transitions. In these roles, I learned how to build trust, recognize the subtle ways people ask for help, and provide support tailored to each individual’s needs. In our sessions, I will combine various modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy, to help you begin to reframe unhelpful thoughts, address the stories that shape your identity, and deepen your connection to your emotions. We’ll explore what feels most pressing in your life, including your relationships, career paths, family expectations, comparisons, and perfectionism, and uncover what may lie beneath the surface.

I graduated from the College of the Holy Cross with a double major in English and Psychology and a minor in Creative Writing. Now, as I pursue my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wake Forest University, I carry forward an appreciation for people’s stories and a commitment to supporting them through different stages of life.

When I’m not working, you can usually find me with a book in Central Park, practicing yoga, watching the Knicks, or gathering around the kitchen with loved ones.
