Sarah is warm, nurturing & inviting. She is also direct & held me accountable! We accomplished a lot together.

Simply the best! Sarah has helped me change my life for the better in so many ways.

Sarah has made such a positive impact on my life. I've seen so much growth in myself since starting my sessions with her.

Trading the Big Easy for the Big Apple, Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology from Tulane University and also has a Master of Arts (MA) in Mental Health and Wellness Counseling from New York University. During her time at Tulane, Sarah gained specialized experience in eating disorders and LGBTQ+ affirmative counseling, as well as anxiety and depression research.

Sarah’s goal in therapy is to create an environment in which her client feels safe and heard. She is committed to creating a validating and non-judgmental space that encourages clients to explore and celebrate their needs and differences. She believes that therapy is most successful when the client and therapist work together on establishing goals. Sarah views clients from a humanistic and multicultural lens and takes an eclectic approach in creating a treatment plan that’s specifically tailored to each client. Her primary areas of theoretical focus are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Existential Therapy and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
